Testimonial

Since encountering Ibn al-Qayyim's work nearly 30 years ago, I was drawn in by his heart-touching perspectives and analogies. His words describe a profoundness of iman that I desired but remained elusive no matter how much I read and yearned for it.

A fellow revert sister and I have often discussed how despite being Muslim for over 30 years, it is only in the past few years following Sh Moutasem and connecting with the heart-centered approach to iman, understanding the self, and learning how to truly recognize and experience Allah in our lives that we have begun to have a completely different experience with worshipping Allah. Alhumdulillah.

The predominant approach to learning Islam today is academic, and from personal experience, it is very limiting, creating a struggle to increase one's iman primarily through outward actions and surface meanings...and this is precisely what makes a heart more vulnerable to attacks by shaytan. May Allah protect us. Ameen. In contrast, when one begins working on their heart, they discover a deep and intrinsic love for Allah that feeds into their outward acts of worship.

Rashidoon's work is so precious because their primary aim is to guide Muslims to look inward and to find the love of Allah that resides within and then uproot whatever overgrows that love and then nurture their love for Allah and truly taste the sweetness of iman. May Allah grant them success. Ameen
